Meghan McCarty is a dedicated and accomplished professional who is the co-founder and co-owner of Greater Good Student Support Services. With a passion for education and a commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable practices, Meghan has made a significant impact in the lives of students.

Meghan earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University, Channel Islands. This educational foundation has provided her with a deep understanding of human behavior and the cognitive processes that influence learning. 

To further advance her knowledge and expertise, Meghan pursued a Master's Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. This specialized degree equips her with a comprehensive understanding of language development and communication disorders, enabling her to provide targeted support to students in need.

With over six years of experience in education, Meghan has served in various roles such as a teacher, reading/literacy interventionist, and speech-language therapist. Her diverse experience has allowed her to develop a multifaceted approach to student support, combining instructional strategies, literacy interventions, and speech therapy techniques to meet individual needs.

Meghan's dedication to fostering inclusivity and cultural responsiveness is at the core of her work. She strongly believes in equity and strives to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. Her multilingual abilities in Spanish, as well as her ongoing language learning endeavors in Arabic and Twi, enable her to connect with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and effectively meet their needs.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Meghan enjoys learning new languages and has taken language classes to expand her linguistic repertoire. This passion for language acquisition demonstrates her commitment to lifelong learning and her desire to better connect with students and families.
