Jeff McCarty, co-founder and co-owner of Greater Good Student Support Services, is a passionate and accomplished educator dedicated to the success of all students. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, helping to make a positive impact on students' lives.Â
Jeff holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from California State University, Los Angeles, which has provided him with a strong foundation in teaching music to students of all ages and abilities. This background has equipped him with the skills to engage students in creative and expressive forms of learning.
To further enhance his teaching abilities and expand his educational insights, Jeff pursued a Master's Degree in Education and Curriculum from Grand Canyon University. Jeff holds an Education Specialist Teaching Credential. This advanced degree has deepened his understanding of effective instructional strategies and curriculum development, enabling him to tailor his teaching to meet the diverse needs of his students.
With an impressive 25 years of teaching experience in special education, primarily in the 6th-8th grade range, Jeff has honed his skills in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. He has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of students in special education and is dedicated to providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
Outside of his professional life, Jeff has a strong passion for the arts. He is a highly skilled and experienced pianist and guitarist with nearly 45 years of musical expertise. His love for the arts influences his teaching style, as he integrates creative and expressive elements into his lessons, fostering a holistic approach to education.
With his extensive background in teaching, musical talents, and dedication to supporting students with special needs, Jeff McCarty continues to make a lasting impact on the education community and the lives of his students.
